    Are you passionate about making a difference by influencing perceptions of hearing loss? Are you interested in sharing your experiences with other teens and coaching on related topics to develop new skills? Do you want to shape the future of hearing by contributing to the development of hearing technology? If you answered yes to these questions, this is your chance!

    What are our requirements?
    • Live in the US or Canada

    • Commit to a 1-year term, with the possibility to extend it to 2 years

    • 15-18 years old

    • Fluent in English

    • Have bi-monthly meetings with Phonak representatives and other advisory board members to discuss and give your opinion on various topics

    • Contribute regularly to Phonak blogs and social media team

    • Become active spokespeople in your school and community, representing Phonak technology and the needs and empowerment of teens with hearing loss

    What are your benefits to participate?
    • Get training and coaching on topics that will help you develop new skill sets

    • Participate in the kick-off meeting at Phonak US in the 1st year and, if you prolong your term, visit Phonak Headquarters in Switzerland on the 2nd year

    • Receive the latest technology in hearing aids and Roger accessories

    • Be the first teens to give input for future products and evaluate the newest launched products

    • Connect with other teens with hearing loss

    • Improve your college and university applications

    What is the timeline?
    • Open for applications: June 10 to July 27

    • Select candidates will move into public voting phase: Aug 1 to 10

    • Guardians of selected candidates to be called by Phonak: Aug 13 – 14

    • Teen Advisory Board kick off weekend: Sept 28 to 29

    • Recurring virtual meetings: Oct 2018 to Sep 2019

    • New technology provided to participants: early Spring 2019

    • Social posts made by Teen Advisors: ongoing Oct 2018 to Sep 2019
